Selamat Datang — in Style
Begin with a scenic arrival through Putrajaya and a lakeside coffee if energy allows, then check in to the brand-new Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur. Later, meet your guide over a cacao welcome drink high above the city.

Your private driver meets you at the airport, and the transfer becomes the first chapter: a scenic drive through Putrajaya, Malaysia’s striking administrative capital — futuristic architecture, the Prime Minister’s office, serene Putrajaya Lake and a photo stop at the rose-domed Pink Mosque. If energy allows, pause for coffee beside the lake before continuing into Kuala Lumpur.
If you arrive early, we request early check-in so you can settle in properly. Your stay is at the brand-new Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, high within Merdeka 118 — the world’s second-tallest tower — where the hotel itself becomes part of the view.
Later, meet your guide at Cacao Mixology & Chocolate, the hotel’s sky-high bar, for a welcome drink built around cacao — cocktail or zero-proof. This is your moment to talk through the week ahead, fine-tune the pacing and ask anything at all. Dinner is on your own tonight; we are happy to recommend or reserve.

Kuala Lumpur, From Street Level
With the skyline already part of your stay, explore Kuala Lumpur at street level: Petronas Towers, heritage quarters, gardens, mosques and a very local banana-leaf lunch. Tonight, Beta is optional for serious food lovers.

Today is a rounded private orientation to Kuala Lumpur, designed to show you the city from street level rather than send you up another tower. Begin around the Petronas Twin Towers and KLCC Park, then continue through the peaceful Lake Gardens and past the National Monument, National Museum, King’s Palace and National Mosque.
Lunch is a banana-leaf meal served in a very local, family-home-style setting — generous, fragrant and rooted in everyday Malaysian hospitality.
The afternoon crosses the city’s older layers: the restored murals of Kwai Chai Hong, Petaling Street, Central Market and Sri Maha Mariamman, the country’s oldest functioning Hindu temple. Continue over the Klang River to Masjid Jamek, where Kuala Lumpur began at the meeting of two rivers, then finish at Independence Square with the Sultan Abdul Samad Building, Royal Selangor Club and old City Theatre gathered around it.
The evening is yours. If you are a foodie, let us reserve Beta: Michelin-starred since 2023, with a tasting menu that travels Malaysia state by state. Advance reservation and deposit required.

Batu Caves, Pewter & Kampong Bahru After Dark
Climb the rainbow steps of Batu Caves and meet Royal Selangor’s pewter artisans by day. After dark, a private Kampong Bahru food tour ends with dinner and the Petronas Towers glowing before you.

The morning begins at Batu Caves: the golden 42-metre Lord Murugan, 272 rainbow steps and shrines carved into ancient limestone. Your guide tells the story of Thaipusam; the Indian snack vendors at the base handle the appetite you have earned.
Continue to the Royal Selangor Visitor Centre, where some of the world’s finest pewter has been shaped by hand since the 19th century. Watch the artisans, browse the galleries and perhaps take a piece home.
Return to the hotel for an afternoon pause — spa, pool or simply the view from your room. In the evening, your guide takes you into Kampong Bahru for a private food tour through one of Kuala Lumpur’s oldest Malay enclaves. Taste beloved local dishes, hear how the neighborhood has resisted the city’s rush upward, and finish with dinner as the Petronas Towers light up the night.

After breakfast, your driver brings you to the airport for the short flight to Langkawi — an archipelago of 99 islands and a UNESCO Global Geopark of karst peaks, caves and mangroves.
If your flight ticket does not already include lounge access, you are invited to begin at the Plaza Premium Lounge before departure.
On arrival, a hotel vehicle brings you through the island’s lush interior to Four Seasons Resort Langkawi on Tanjung Rhu Beach: a mile of golden sand flanked by jungle and limestone cliffs. Your Upper Floor Pavilion is home for the next five nights.
Explore the grounds by complimentary bike or simply settle beside the sea. Tonight, dinner is at Kelapa Grill — flame-grilled seafood and steaks, toes nearly in the sand, as the sun drops into the Andaman.

The Art of Doing Nothing
A deliberately open day at Tanjung Rhu: breakfast by the pool, powder-soft sand, warm sea and nothing on the schedule unless you want it there.

Breakfast comes beside the main pool, with fig trees overhead. Then the day is a blank page: the powdery calm of Tanjung Rhu Beach invites you to do absolutely nothing — or absolutely everything.
No schedule, no guide, no tickets. Just the sea.

Your private Skybridge tour begins with the Langkawi SkyCab up Mount Mat Cincang, where rainforest, sea and scattered islands unfold beneath you. At the summit, walk the Skybridge — the island’s curved marvel suspended high above the jungle.
Lunch follows at NAM, Bon Ton Resort’s much-loved restaurant set among antique wooden houses and lagoon views. Then continue to Cenang Beach for a gentle walk along Langkawi’s best-known stretch of sand.
The afternoon is free back at the resort. Tonight, we can arrange transfers and reservations at The Pavilion at The Datai for Thai cuisine in the rainforest canopy, or Kayuputi at The St. Regis for an overwater dinner by the Andaman.
