Depending on your requests, we are able to assist you even with the tiniest details, including restaurant reservations, massage bookings etc.

We specialize in complete, seamless private tours. We don’t offer transfers or individual services as standalone bookings.

No. We only offer fully packaged tours, including accommodations. We are however, more than happy to listen to your needs and suggest hotels and resorts based on your budget and personality. This ensures the entire trip runs smoothly and we can guarantee the quality of your experience.

Many lower-priced tours leave out key details, like airport transfers, private guides, admission fees, or even meals. At Malaya Travel, we offer complete, worry-free private tours that are carefully crafted around your needs, with personal support every step of the way.

One of the biggest differences is our use of licensed, professional guides, not just drivers. Unfortunately, it’s becoming common in Malaysia for agencies to offer cheaper “driver-guided” tours. These drivers are not licensed to guide and will typically drop you off without walking you through cultural sites or providing meaningful context. That’s simply not the level of service we believe in.

We also take time to individually design every itinerary from hand-picking accommodations and activities to coordinating timing, logistics, and flow. All entrance fees and admissions are included in your package, so there are no surprises along the way. Even meals are thoughtfully selected – not tourist buffets, but experiences that reflect local flavor and atmosphere.

Pricing depends on your travel dates, group size, hotel preferences, and the kinds of experiences you want. In general, most of our private tours in Malaysia range from $300–$600 per person per day. This includes handpicked accommodations, private transportation, licensed guides, entrance fees, and thoughtfully curated experiences. The main cost is always transportation and guide services. The bigger the group, the lower the cost per person. For Singapore, you can expect to pay roughly double. It’s a significantly more expensive destination when it comes to private travel.

While Malaysia is still more affordable than Western Europe or the U.S., it’s no longer one of the “cheap” destinations in Southeast Asia, especially for private, high-quality touring. If your expectation is to stay in comfortable hotels, enjoy varied meals beyond street food, and have a guide with you, the cost will reflect that. It’s often slightly more than countries like Vietnam or Thailand.
