Enjoy a half-day tour on your final day in the Malaysian capital. We begin our exploration at the serene Lake Gardens, nestled amidst lush greenery. Established in 1888, the Lake Gardens hold the distinction of being the city's first public park, opened for recreational use by residents. Here, we make our first stop at Malaysia’s National Monument, a solemn tribute to the nation's history and heroes. Adjacent to the National Monument is the ASEAN Sculpture Garden, a beautifully landscaped area featuring a collection of prize-winning sculptures crafted from wood, marble, iron, and bamboo. Enjoy a leisurely walk through the park before continuing our tour. As we drive through the park, we will also stop at the National Museum for some fantastic photo opportunities. You will start the day with an easy tour visiting the Mossy Forest. The Mossy Forest is one of the oldest forests in the country: locals believe it existed in the time of dinosaurs already. Everything is covered in moss, the labyrinth of branches, and a spongy floor with gnarly roots make it look like the land of Avatar. The walk in the forest is on a boardwalk which makes the tour easy and comfortable. After the forest, you will have a few stops along the road (of your choice) and then you it is time to finally see the first tea plantations at the BOH Tea Farm. Cameron Highlands is one of the country’s most fertile agricultural spots, possessing all the right attributes for growing outstanding tea, and is situated over 5,000 feet above sea level on the main mountain range of Malaysia.
